Botox + Dysport

Neuromodulators, otherwise known by their brand names Botox® and Dysport®, provide muscle relaxing characteristics to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles. These neuromodulator treatments can be used in multiple areas of the face and body to help soften fine lines and provide relief of symptoms associated with TMJ and excessive sweating.

Botox + Dysport
Before Care

  • Avoid anti-inflammatories 3 days before your appointment.

  • No alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.

  • Drink lots of fluids and have a small meal/snack before your appointment.

  • Do not wear makeup to your appointment.

  • Botox/Dysport is not safe if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • No retin-A for 2 days before and 2 days after your treatment.

  • Schedule your appointment 2 weeks before a special event.

  • Reschedule if you have a rash, blemish, or cold sore near the injection site.

  • Avoid taking garlic, ginkgo biloba, Vitamin E, omega supplements for 48 hours before your appointment.

Botox + Dysport
Aftercare

  • Do not touch or rub the injected areas for 24 hours.

  • Do not apply makeup to the treated areas for 24 hours.

  • Remain upright (do not lie down); try not to bend over for 4 hours.

  • Refrain from strenuous physical exertion (e.g. running) for 24 hours.

  • Do not wear hats for 72 hours.

  • Avoid heat for 24 hours.

  • No alcohol for 24 hours.

  • No anti-inflammatories (e.g. Advil, Motrin, Aleve) or garlic, ginkgo biloba, Vitamin E, omega supplements for 48 hours.

Treatment timeline:

Results may begin to appear within 3-7 days after treatment, with full effects typically achieved by 14 days. It is normal to feel tightness or a headache within the first 2 weeks; you can take Tylenol as needed. If this is your first treatment, consider a follow-up appointment in 2-4 weeks for assessment or adjustments. The duration of the first treatment typically lasts 3 months, with results potentially improving with repeated treatments at 3-3.5 month intervals*.

Microneedling + PRP

Microneedling

A minimally invasive treatment using tiny needles to cause controlled micro injuries that do not actually damage the epidermis or dermis. This skin’s natural repair process can reduce the appearance of fine lines, reduction of pores and acne and/or surgical scars, and improve the skin’s texture, tone, and colour.

PRP (Platelet-rich plasma)

PRP treatments involve drawing the patients own blood and separating out the platelet-rich plasma, which is then microneedled back into the patient’s skin. The injection boosts collagen production in the area, which creates the appearance of more volume in the area while improving the texture and tone of the skin. PRP is all-natural, with extremely minimal risk of adverse reactions or allergies.

Dermal Filler

In the natural process of aging, our body slowly loses the volume and bounciness that was once housed beneath our skin.
